The offer

CAD $12,000

Fixed price · billed once · no surprises

  • Two calendar weeks
  • Senior architects only — no handoff to junior staff
  • Remote by default; on-site available
  • Executive readout plus full decision package
  • Constraints respected — regulation, budget, legacy, people

Start with a thirty-minute intro

We confirm the assessment fits your situation before anyone commits. If it does not, we will say so.

What you receive

One decision package. Four deliverables.

Current-state architecture map

A clear picture of your systems, data flows, integrations and dependencies — as they actually are, not as the diagram on the wall claims.

Risk and constraint register

The architecture, delivery and key-person risks that matter, ranked by business impact and written in plain language for non-technical leadership.

Target architecture options

Two or three realistic directions with honest trade-offs on cost, speed, effort and regulation — including the option of doing less than you expected.

Prioritized 30/90/180-day roadmap

A sequenced plan of what to do first, what can wait, and what would be wasted effort — with the reasoning recorded.

How the two weeks work

Evidence first. Opinion second.

The assessment is deliberately short. Two weeks forces focus on the questions that change decisions, not on exhaustive documentation nobody reads.

01

Week 1 — Evidence

Interviews with the people who run and build the systems. Review of architecture, infrastructure, code, data and delivery practices. We work from documents, access and conversations — remote by default, on-site if you prefer.

02

Week 2 — Design and decision

Synthesis of findings into options and recommendations. Two working sessions with your leadership team: one to pressure-test the findings, one to walk through the decision package and agree the sequence.

Honest boundaries

What this is — and what it is not.

It is

  • An independent read of your architecture and risks
  • Options with trade-offs, not one pre-chosen answer
  • A plan your team can execute, with your vendors or ours
  • A fixed price you can approve internally today

It is not

  • –An audit or compliance certification
  • –A design document for implementation
  • –A vendor recommendation in disguise
  • –Unlimited scope — we will define the boundary together

If the assessment leads somewhere — modernization, a platform decision, fractional leadership, delivery through Rubicon — that is a separate conversation. There is no obligation to continue, and the decision package is yours to use with any team you choose.
